How to compare sliding systems
This group includes five PVC and aluminium systems. They share sliding movement but differ in insulation, profile design and glazing.
- Heated or unheated spaces
- IGLO SLIDE is not intended for high thermal-insulation demands. Assess EDGE SLIDE, MB and COR VISION against the actual project requirements.
- Minimalist façades
- COR VISION and PLUS have narrow visible interlocks. Concealed frame or rail details need coordination with walls, floors and drainage.
- Space and passage
- Sliding sashes need no swing space inside the room. Confirm clear passage, handles and fixed sections in the drawing.

Pricing varies by PVC or aluminium system, dimensions, glazing, visible framing and installation. COR VISION PLUS operation and recessed-rail options are assessed separately.

Is every sliding system an HS system?
No. This category contains separate sliding systems. HS lifts the sash and uses different hardware and thresholds.
Can profiles be concealed in floors or walls?
Some COR VISION configurations offer concealment. Check project-specific details while providing drainage and hardware access.
Which systems support sliding windows?
IGLO SLIDE and MB-SLIDE are described as window and door systems. Specify the construction for the location and thermal requirements.
