When PSK tilt ventilation is useful
PSK sashes tilt or move away from the frame before sliding sideways. Compare five IGLO PVC systems and the MB-70 / MB-70HI aluminium family.
- 70 or 82 mm profiles
- IGLO ENERGY uses 82 mm depth; IGLO 5 and LIGHT use 70 mm. Assess profiles with glazing, seals and actual door dimensions.
- Ventilation and everyday access
- Tilt provides a ventilation position. Frequent terrace access also requires suitable thresholds, handles and operation.
- PVC and aluminium weight limits
- IGLO pages list standard hardware for sashes up to 160 kg. That limit does not automatically apply to the aluminium MB family or every glazing layout.

What determines PSK door pricing?
PSK prices depend on profile family, dimensions, PVC or aluminium construction, glazing, finish and hardware. Installation and removal are agreed for the site.

Questions before choosing patio doors
Can PSK both tilt and slide?
Yes. The sash moves away from the frame before sliding. Actual hardware and operation are agreed for the order.
Does PSK need space inside the room?
Sliding needs less swing space than a hinged door, but moving away from the frame and tilting still require clearance. Dimensions and hardware determine it.
Does the 160 kg limit apply to every PSK model?
No. It refers to IGLO standard hardware. Aluminium variants and selected glazing require construction-specific checks.
