IGLO ENERGY or IGLO 5?
Both PVC systems offer designs that can be coordinated with the façade. Compare actual dimensions, infills and hardware before assessing thermal performance and price.
- Profile and sealing
- IGLO ENERGY has an 82 mm depth and 7/5 frame/sash chambers; IGLO 5 has 70 mm and 5/3 chambers. Whole-door Ud also depends on infills and dimensions.
- Panels or glazing
- A decorative panel provides privacy, while glazing brings light into the entrance. Glass safety, patterns, panel design and compatibility are confirmed for the chosen system.
- Everyday use
- Agree swing direction, clear passage, handle, lock and threshold. Existing openings and finishing work matter when replacing doors.

What determines the price of PVC exterior doors?
Dimensions, IGLO system, infill, glazing, finish, hardware and installation affect the quotation. Doors of equal area can have different prices with different panels or locks.
Send opening or door dimensions, a drawing or photo, preferred opening direction, finish and infill. Include the site location and work required so we can prepare an individual quotation.

Questions about choosing doors
Can PVC exterior doors have coloured finishes?
Yes. PVC décor, infill and handles can be coordinated. Colours and patterns are confirmed for the system and infill model; a screen image can differ from the actual finish.
Does a lower Ud mean better insulation?
A lower whole-door Ud means less heat transfer. Compare systems with equivalent dimensions and infills, and consider installation alongside the value.
Can existing entrance doors be replaced with PVC doors?
We assess the existing opening, its condition, clear passage and building requirements. Dimensions, threshold, removal and finishing work are agreed before ordering.
