Thermally insulated systems and interior structures
Select an aluminium window for its location and construction size. An exterior window for a heated room and an internal partition need different solutions.
- Thermal separation
- MB-86N SI, MB-79N SI, MB-70HI and MB-70 offer thermally insulated system options. MB-45 has no thermal break and is intended for structures that do not need thermal insulation.
- Dimensions and opening
- For larger windows or fixed glazing, we assess height, width, glass weight and opening type. Permitted dimensions depend on the specific system and construction.
- Glazing and colour
- Coordinate glazing, safety requirements and the RAL finish. The quotation specifies the selected configuration and whole-window thermal performance.

What determines the price of aluminium windows?
Construction size, system, thermal break, opening type, glazing and finish determine the price. Fixed glazing and an opening window can have different costs even with similar areas.

Questions about aluminium windows
Can aluminium windows provide good insulation?
Yes, with a thermally broken system and suitable glazing. Compare the Uw value for the actual window and the installation approach, rather than the frame material alone.
Is MB-45 suitable for an exterior window in a heated room?
MB-45 has no thermal break and is intended for locations that do not require thermal insulation. For exterior windows in heated rooms, we select an insulated system to suit the project requirements.
Can aluminium systems be used for large glazed areas?
Yes, aluminium systems can be considered for larger glazing constructions. Dimensions, glass specification, subdivisions and opening types must be checked against the chosen system and project.
